Now in it’s third successive year, Write it. Shoot it. Show it. (WiSiSi) is an annual RMIT exhibition of collaborative, cross-disciplinary student work.
Showcasing the creative achievements of students from three of DSC’s VE schools, WiSiSi exhibits diverse projects ranging from photojournalism to webseries, and combines innovative, conceputal thinking with sophisticated, technical execution.

Comprising 18 episodes, Café is a web series written by students of the Advanced Diploma of Professional Screenwriting and shot in RMIT’s state of the art Media Precinct by students of the Certificate IV in Screen and Media. The series explores the shared public spaces of cafés and restaurants, where customers’ private lives are laid bare, serving up captivating stories that range from the everyday to the surreal.
The Photo Book Project
Students from RMIT’s Diploma of Photography + Photo Imaging have teamed up with the Associate Degree in Professional Writing + Editing to create The Photo Book Project, a fantastic work of
cross-disciplinary photojournalism.Taking inspiration from the golden age of Life Magazine, students adopted the role of unbiased observer and created a series of compelling narrative photo-essays.
For over a decade now, RMIT’s Diploma of Photography + Photo Imaging students have been collaborating with students of Visual Merchandising to create stunning fashion photography of a professional standard.
Visual Merchandising students plan and execute styling, whilst Photo Imaging students take care of the photography, lighting and post-production
Doors open 4:30pm.
Drinks and nibbles available on arrival, with the event officially kicking off with speeches at 5:30pm.
