Melbourne, Music and Me curator Dr Kipps Horn speaks with former music journalist, editor and historian, Ed Nimmervoll.
One of the key themes of the exhibition is the importance of music in triggering memory and nostalgia, individually and collectively. Music and especially live music, brings together people and plays a part in our significant public and personal events, triumphs and introspection.
This event is presented by RMIT Gallery as part of the exhibition Melbourne, Music and Me.
Exhibition curator Dr Kipps Horn speaks with Ed Nimmervoll, a former music journalist and went onto become Editor of Melbourne music publications Go Set in the 1970’s and Juke Magazine in the 1980’s. An active and keen historian of Australian music, Ed is a highly respected voice in the Melbourne music industry.
