The Institute of Transportation Engineers and RMIT's School of Business IT and Logistics present a public lecture by the Victorian Minister of Transport, the Hon Luke Donnellan.
The minister will present the road safety strategy “Towards Zero”. Besides continuing the current safe system approach (safer roads, safer vehicles, safer road users and safer speed), a big emphasis of the Government’s positive road safety agenda is generational change, by establishing safer driving behaviours from a young age to keep people safe for life.
The removal of fifty of Melbourne’s most dangerous level crossings will also make the road network safer for pedestrians and cyclists and other road users as Victoria’s population grows and more people share the roads.
Hon Luke Donnellan, Minister for Roads & Road Safety, Minister for Ports

Luke is the current Minister for Roads, Road Safety, and Ports. He is the elected member for Narre Warren North since 2002 and has served as the Shadow Minister for Roads, Road Safety and the TAC from 2010-2014.
