Natalie Harkin is a Narungga woman from South Australia, a member of the Chester family in South Australia.
non/fictionLab presents Natalie Harkin, a lecturer and academic advisor at the Office of Indigenous Strategy and Engagement, Flinders University, whose PhD research is an archival-poetic journey through the state's Aboriginal family archives.
Natalie is a writer of poetry and poetic-prose. Her words have been installed and projected in several exhibitions comprising text-object-video projection, largely in response to the State's Aboriginal records and archives. Her first collection of poetry, Dirty Words, was published by Cordite Books in 2015.
Natalie will be resident at non/fictionLab's Visiting Poets program.
