SPEAKER is a series of talks by contemporary artists presented by the School of Art.
Natasha Johns-Messenger is an artist and filmmaker who lives and works in Melbourne and New York. She creates site-determined installations based on complex systems of optical physics and material inventions including architecture, photography and digital projections. Her work aims to disorientate perceptions of the immediate exhibition environment and the relationship between the real and the virtual. Johns-Messenger has exhibited in Australia, Tokyo, Bogota, China, The Netherlands, Taiwan and USA.
