Join Professor Andrew Greentree in light-hearted but deep conversation with Dr John Lenarcic about quantum technology and other sundry matters.
Andy Greentree is Professor of Quantum Physics and Distinguished Research Fellow at RMIT University. Andy is a theoretical physicist and has published extensively on applications of quantum mechanics, diamond, and quantum optics.
He is a Chief Investigator in the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Nanoscale BioPhotonics, and was formerly employed by the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Quantum Computer Technology.
Before taking up a Vice Chancellor's Senior Research Fellowship at RMIT University, he was a Queen Elizabeth II Fellow at the University of Melbourne, and held postdoctoral positions at University of Melbourne, University of New South Wales and the Open University.
Andy's PhD at the Australian National University was quantum effects in diamond, and he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Adelaide. He has published over 130 peer-reviewed journal articles and is co-recipient of over $26 million in competitive grant funding.
