Celebrate RMIT Europe’s move into the landmark Media-TIC Building in the heart of Barcelona’s innovation district 22@.
This special event on 14 September will be attended by RMIT's Vice-Chancellor and President of RMIT University Martin Bean CBE.
The new premises solidifies RMIT's presence in Barcelona and its commitment to being a global university. In this transformative urban space, RMIT Europe will be joining more than 8,000 local and international businesses such as Telefonica, Mobile World Capital and Deloitte Cybersecurity in addition to local university partners Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Pompeu Fabra University and the University of Barcelona.
RMIT's space in the low-carbon Media-TIC Building – designed by Spanish architect and RMIT Adjunct Professor Enric Ruiz Geli – will offer triple the size of the current learning and teaching spaces, which are also used for the many collaborative activities that are run with industry and academic partners in Europe.
We very much look forward to celebrating the move to 22@ as well as sharing our plans for the future in Barcelona's most dynamic and innovative district.
