Entrepreneurship Week

Entrepreneurship Week (E-Week) is an annual calendar highlight, enabling the RMIT community to come together to experience first-hand the exciting world of entrepreneurship.

Every year, we aim to raise a new and exciting theme to promote awareness and bring attention to pressing and trending issues awaiting to be solved. By providing a platform to real-world problems, we hope to encourage innovation for impact, not only by our community, but also reaching out to the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem for insights, expertise and collaboration.

Here's why you should get involved:

Themes

Entrepreneurship at RMIT University is a much-needed answer to close the gap between studying for your degree and getting the industry on-demand 21st century skill set.

Be proactive and resourceful. Entrepreneurship is for everyone, no matter what you’re studying. In collaboration with Careers & Employability, we’re bringing a wide range of seminars, info sessions, intimate talk shows and a hackathon on rural employment sponsored by Wantirna Community Bank.

Watch and relive some of the memorable moments where RMIT students uncover ways to make rural unemployment a thing of the past.

Our current economic system isn’t working for people or the planet. The UN Sustainable Development Goals form the blueprint of change. This year, we aim for new solutions and more sustainable approaches to achieve a healthy, liveable and resilient Victoria.

We are excited to have prominent RMIT alumni, Jac Nasser, as a sponsor for this event, as well as collaborating with RMIT Sustainability and Social Innovation Hub.

Watch some of our favourite moments throughout the week and see if you can recognise anyone from the broader circular economy ecosystem!
