Countless creatives dream of working for world-renowned fashion house Christian Dior. For an RMIT student that dream became reality.
Sarah Clemens recently completed a prestigious two-week work experience program with the luxury fashion label at its Australian headquarters in Sydney.
Ms Clemens, a second-year Bachelor of Communication (Public Relations) student, said the Dior team were "lovely" and gave her valuable insight into the fashion industry.
"Being part of the work culture and environment at Christian Dior proved to me that this is the type of brand and organisation I want to work for," she said.
Ms Clemens worked within the public relations and communications departments during the program.
She said it was beneficial to see first-hand how the marketing and public relations teams executed strategies and objectives.
"I was given the chance to create a folio for a new jewellery line and undertook buying trend analysis," she said.
The work experience students undertake as part of their studies has direct benefits for them and their future global employers.
