Support RMIT FactLab today

We need your help to fight misinformation and disinformation.

RMIT FactLab is Australia’s first research and training hub dedicated to fact checking harmful information and studying the impact of its spread.

Some of the biggest issues of our time — whether COVID-19, climate change or the Voice to Parliament referendum — are steeped in inaccurate and malicious information.

Your support will help us set the record straight, arming people with the facts to make fully informed decisions.

A tax-deductible donation will ensure RMIT FactLab has the researchers and resources it needs to fight the spread of harmful information.

This means we can continue training journalists, developing research tools and producing rigorous, agenda-free analysis.

RMIT FactLab is primarily supported by RMIT University, research grants and philanthropic donations. It also receives grants from organisations such as the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN).

We do not accept donations from political parties or advocacy and lobby groups.

Whether it's your first time donating or you regularly contribute to FactLab, your donation, big or small, will make a world of difference.

Russell Skelton,

Director, RMIT FactLab
