It is vital that current and future workers are digitally capable and prepared for future employment
opportunities. That’s why the C4DE is creating educational materials and training resources for industry 4.0 technologies in collaboration with RMIT’s Vocational Education (VE) Design Team. This training is being developed with input from industry and can be delivered directly into workplaces.
We help workplaces build relevant knowledge and skills in new technologies to help them grow and extend their competitive edge.
VE Design Team
The Vocational Education (VE) Design team at RMIT University is a collaboration of talented dessigners, writers, developers and project managers who specialise in Vocational Education and Training. They are working with the C4DE to develop training and micro-credentials that support the workforce in applying new technologies.
The VE Design Team are developing 12 workplace micro units for the blended delivery of training in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine operations. Augmented and virtual reality technologies are being applied in four of these units to create scenarios that wouldn’t be possible through traditional online content.
