Library services delivered online

In line with government restrictions to slow the spread of Covid-19, all Library sites are closed until further notice.

Most Library services have transitioned to online delivery and we've updated our website to reflect this. Below is a summary of these changes.

Library information services and study support are available via Ask the Library.

All Peer mentoring and PASS sessions are deferred until further notice.

For academics and teachers only, please contact our dedicated support team at for assistance with online resources for your Canvas course and Reading Lists.

Request a study support workshop for your students to be delivered online.

Research consultations and assistance to higher degree by research students, academics and researchers are available via Skype, email or by telephone. Book a research consultation.

We are also running a series of research webinars and presentations.

The collection

Our extensive collection of online resources is available to support your study, teaching and research needs. Use LibrarySearch or browse our collections.

Borrowing and returns

The holds function in LibrarySearch has been suspended.

If you have items on loan from the Library, keep them until the Library reopens. You will not be fined and all existing fines will be suspended.

You will not be able to return your items while the Library is closed.

Self-help resources

Use Library subject guides for suggested resources for your course.

Study skills tutorials and guides are available from the Learning Lab.
