Check RMIT's Coming to campus page for further instructions.

Library study spaces

Hooray, the Library is open!

All Library sites are open to eligible students.

The group study rooms are not available.

The Library is not yet open to non-RMIT borrowers.

Access to the Library Makerspace

The Library Makerspace remains closed, but you can request 3D printing via Email & Collect service.

Collection access and returns

Access to the Library's print collection is available via a Click & Collect service. All RMIT students and staff can place requests. (Update 10 January - collection access continues via Click & Collect)

To request items go to LibrarySearch (remember to log in). If the item you want is available, place a hold on it. You can choose to collect your items from any of the Library sites. You’ll get an email when your items are available for collection. Please note, items that are on loan are not available through the Click & Collect.

You can collect your items from the Library site you selected at the following times:

  • Brunswick Library, Bundoora Library and Carlton Library: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
  • Swanston Library: Monday to Friday 8am-6pm

The Click & Post service, previously available to postgraduate students and staff, has now finished.
