EndNote

This workshop will introduce you to the basics of using the EndNote reference management program to create a personalized database of references.  

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to: 

  • Create and build an EndNote library 
  • Import citation information from catalogues and databases into an EndNote library 
  • Choose appropriate referencing or bibliographic style
  • Insert and edit references into a Word document to create a reference list.
  • Monday 15 August 11am-12pm, City campus
  • Thursday 6 October 2pm-3pm, online

Use the Library to research for your assignments (Search and Evaluate) 

In this workshop you will learn

  • how to effectively plan and search for relevant information for your assignment topics and
  • how to adjust your search strategy if at first you do not get results.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

  • Implement strategies to help refine your search results and identify relevant information and resources as quickly as possible
  • Critically evaluate online information and identify fake news 
  • Know the best sources for your assignments.

You can join this workshop online or at the City campus.
