Principles for including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Perspectives in Learning and Teaching: Library Teaching Spotlight

The Office of Indigenous Education, Research and Engagement (OIERE) leads the University’s Indigenous policy, strategy and engagement with partnerships, and provides insight and directions in education, innovation and research, employment and Community engagement.

About this event

This session will cover topics relevant to educators and researchers, including:

  • The revised ‘Principles for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Perspectives in Learning and Teaching', which is supported by domains of action and capabilities.  
  • Address some terminology issues through a new language guide, including what Indigenous-led research means at RMIT.  

The session will be delivered by Academic Coordinator, Dr Gabrielle Murray, who is a Senior Advisor to the PVC Indigenous Professor Gary Thomas in OIERE.
