Session descriptions

Academic promotions

We will cover how to locate data that shows your research impact, and how to use it to build and defend your case for promotion in the Research domain.

ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID)

We will give you an overview of ORCID and help you set up your account.

Bring along a list of your publications to add to your OCRID account, any logins you may have for Scopus or Web of Science, or your Google Scholar profile details. You can bring along your own laptop, but this is not necessary.

Research data

Open to all Researchers and HDRs who want to make better use of IT to support their research, or just to connect with the wider research community. Come and talk to Data Librarians and Research Engineers about Research Data Management and Compute Methods.
