Open Access Research is becoming an increasingly prominent part of the research landscape. We have seen the importance of sharing research in the context of the COVID19 epidemic and the race to develop a vaccine. Prominent grants bodies are requiring researchers to make research open as a condition of grants. What then are the strategic publishing implications of making your research open? How do researchers navigate the increasingly common request for Article Processing Charges (APCs) from some of the prominent journal publishers? This session will feature a discussion with RMIT researchers who are engaging with open research.
