Building 224 (Lecture Theatre)
This building accommodates a striking state-of-the-art lecture theatre serving both undergraduate and postgraduate needs across the campus.
The building incorporates a range of environmentally sustainable features such as rainwater collection used for toilet flushing and irrigation, energy-efficient lighting and efficient water fixtures and fittings. It has sophisticated IT/AV capabilities including electronic feedback between lecturers and students. Outside, the building is surrounded by a piazza with gardens and covered verandah, providing a recreation space for students and staff.
Transport and access
The Bundoora campus lies between Thomastown Station (South Morang Line) and Greensborough Station (Eltham Line). Bus services run from each of these stations to the campus. Tram route 86 runs from the City (Docklands) to the east campus (Stop 71) and west campus (Stop 70).
