Typist’s notes: the main character of this video is a prospective Communication male student who has a skateboard, headphones and a baseball hat throughout the entire video. For ease of reference typist refers to him as the “male student”. The deep male voice used early in the video is possibly from the Information machine. The female voice used for the balance of the video comes through the male student’s headphones as if on a guided tour.
VISUAL: In the centre of the screen on a white background is text which reads: Studying communication at RMIT knowing the similarities and the differences. RMIT University logo is at the bottom centre of the screen.
VISUAL: A male student wearing a baseball cap with on?ear headphones around his neck and carrying a skateboard walks out of an old?style terrace house and closes the wrought iron waist?high gate behind him. The camera is standing on the pavement just outside the house/gate.
Male student: Bye, guys.
