ANNITTA SILIATO SPEAKS:
So in semester one you will study Commercial law Prices the markets, Business computing and also Accounting.
TEXT ON SCREEN:

ANNITTA SILIATO SPEAKS:
In second semester will study Macroeconomics, Introduction to management, Business statistics and Marketing principles. First of all the Diploma of Commerce is offered in a unique setting. Well, essentially it means that you get a more personalized education. And what does that mean for you as a student? Smaller class sizes so around 30 compared to say 50 to 200.
VISUAL:
Students are walking aroun d campus and strudying in small groups in classrooms. Teachers are helping students with their work.
ANNITTA SILIATO SPEAKS:
All of our teachers are trained in teaching international students. They're caring, they're inspiring and industry trained. So it's a fantastic experience for you all to have these teachers that are there to help you on this journey.
The second aspect of the Diploma of Commerce that is quite unique is that you get some industry experience. That means that we try to incorporate a little bit of business or industry into every course so for example in the Marketing principles course you have the opportunity to work for a real business client. The client will come into your class, talk about what their needs are for a marketing plan, you will devise the marketing plan and then you have to present your marketing plan as an assessment at the end of the our semester to the client.
VISUAL:
Jubilant students are attending the RMIT graduation parade along Swanston Street.
ANNITTA SILIATO SPEAKS:
The third great aspect of the Diploma of Commerce is that at the end of your bachelor and your diploma you have two qualifications. So for example, if you complete the Diploma Commerce and do a Bachelor of Accounting you will have a Bachelor of Accounting and a Diploma of Commerce and that looks fantastic on your resume for employers to say that you have these two qualifications.
