AUDIO: Martin Bean Speaks: Hi there, I’m Martin Bean - Vice Chancellor of RMIT.
Recently, I’ve been reflecting on what makes this university great. Is it the traditions built from our 128-year history? The world-class teaching facilities, and plans to improve even further? Or is it the staff and students who work so hard to create cutting-edge solutions within our campuses around the world?
No matter what you love about RMIT - we're showcasing it all at Founders' Celebrations next week. It’s going to be the biggest student event we've ever had on campus, and will capture the essence of a globalised campus within an urban city landscape.
With some of Melbourne's most popular food trucks and greatest entertainers, it's going to be a lot of fun but also a chance to reconnect with RMIT clubs and services, while also discovering something new that your uni can offer you.
But don't just take it from me - come down and see for yourself our campuses transform into a party 128 years in the making! And in the meantime - post your favourite memory to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the #RMIT128 Hashtag to go into the draw to win some great prizes.
