Shuo's research investigates how to improve the energy efficiency of old buildings, focusing on heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
TEXT ON SCREEN: RMIT University Presents
AUDIO: Sound of running tram.
VISUAL DESCRIPTION: A high angle view of the streets of Melbourne showing the tramway, buildings, and the busy streets of Melbourne.

VISUAL DESCRIPTION: A high angle view of historical buildings. Camera focuses on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system of some buildings. Focus on one HVAC Unit on a building.
SHUO VOICE OVER: All those things can be achieved by replacing the heating, ventilation, air condition systems, so we call HVAC retrofit.
VISUAL DESCRIPTION: Shuo and an interior designer are holding and looking at a building plan. The officer points to sections of the building plan and discusses the plan with Shuo.
SHUO VOICE OVER: It is very important to provide people with comfortable temperature and the proper air ventilation. If the airflow is bad, people might easily get sick.
