Engineering at RMIT has always been committed to providing students with industry relevant education.
And our range of engineering master degrees reflect this.
We have programs in mechanical, robotics and mechatronics, electrical systems, civil, environmental, transport systems and process engineering.
These programs aim to meet the changing demand in areas like urban transport, energy, food manufacturing, robotics and advanced manufacturing, water treatment and hydrology, and humanitarian engineering.
Working with our industry partners, our postgraduate degrees have been designed to develop engineers who have the critical and technical skills to work locally and internationally.
Our programs include common subjects in the first and final years to replicate the industry environment and allow collaboration with engineers from other disciplines.
We know that in the real world engineers need to work with specialists outside their field.
These common subjects allow you to develop cross-disciplinary skills through practical project based experiences.
Industry engagement is embedded in the programs through projects, internships, guest lectures and site visits.
The master's programs are suitable for graduates in engineering, engineering science or engineering technology who are looking to specialise or build on their skills.
They've been designed to meet Engineers Australia accreditation and once approved graduates will be eligible for EA membership.
A Master of Engineering at RMIT is an investment in your future, giving you the power to shape your career and transform the world.
