Hi, I’m Florence a Kindergarten Teachers in RMIT’s Childcare team.

So here at RMIT’s City Campus, our recently redesigned Children's Centre provides long day-care for the children of staff and students at RMIT University.

Our team strives to provide a progressive and consistently high-quality service for the children of RMIT’s staff and students.

We aim to provide an encouraging environment that is supportive and safe and that nurtures the uniqueness of each child. Our program enables children to learn and develop skills through the process of exploration within an educational-play based curriculum.

We strive to work in partnership with our families to integrate the diverse culture, backgrounds, beliefs and attitudes into our community.

The centre caters to children aged from three months of age to five years old. We also have a kindergarten program for our four-year old’s.

The centre operates from Monday to Friday, from 7:45am to 5:45pm.

Child Care Subsidy may be provided by the Government to help lower the cost of childcare fees and RMIT staff can pay fees by salary deduction.
