Element 14: style and branding
Element number Fourteen.
So in this video we're going to show you how do you make sure you're using the RMIT style and branding. And also some of the extra features in the rich content editor. Font and colour use throughout your course should always be in line with the RMIT style and branding. As a general rule of thumb use the paragraph option in the rich content editor. This will give you your paragraph and heading options and these are already pre-formatted to the RMIT style and branding.
To use it select the text and then select the 'Paragraph' button in the rich content editor and choose your desired style.
Another reason for using these predefined styles is that it will recognize headings and subheadings when students use accessibility devices such as screen readers.
When creating content you can also use the rich content editor: to insert a table, insert and edit media, link to a URL, embed an image, insert a math equation, embed a YouTube video, and record and upload media directly into Canvas. Further information about these features will be available in the additional support material.
So that's Element Fourteen. And the end of this video series.
Thank you very much for joining us. I hope this has been helpful and all the best with your course!
