Instructions

The following instructions will assist you to control the video player using the keyboard.

Starting and stopping the video

  1. Use the Tab or Shift + Tab keyboard combination to navigate the video player controls.
  2. Navigate to the Play button using the Tab or Shift + Tab keyboard combination.
  3. Press the Spacebar or Enter key to toggle between play and pause.

Closed captions

  1. Navigate to the closed captions button using the Tab or Shift + Tab keyboard combination.
  2. Press the Spacebar or Enter key to open the closed captions menu.
  3. Navigate to the preferred close captions option using the Tab or Shift + Tab keyboard combination.
  4. Press the Spacebar or Enter key to activate the close caption option.

Volume

  1. Navigate to the volume slider using the Tab or Shift + Tab keyboard combination.
  2. Press the left or right arrow to decrease and increase the volume.

Full screen

  1. Navigate to the full screen button using the Tab or Shift + Tab keyboard combination.
  2. Press the Spacebar or Enter key to toggle between full screen video and normal size.

Captions

Tom  Lehner:

For me, winning this award would really validate the work that I do with the Pride Mentoring program which connects students with the broader LGBTIQ community.

Caroline Giggins:

RMIT has presented me with an sense of belonging and safety, and for that I’d love to see our community recognise this formally in the form of an award.

Mohammad Taha:

I think this award will be meaningful because it will recognise the fast pace at which we are moving. I think that now, two years later, we stand in a much more inclusive RMIT. And I think that recognising that leads to inspiring the community and inspire future generations that, yes, we can move fast.

Gina Lambropoulos:

What this award means to us is just building on the momentum that we’ve built over the last two years, and what that momentum does is tell new students coming on to campus that they will find their tribe, that they will be safe.
