Introducing the Students Group

Hi, I like to introduce you to the new Students group in the Education portfolio.

What we're doing is bringing together the RMIT Connect and Student Life and the Student Wellbeing and Inclusion groups of the Education portfolio and adding in the Global Experience group from the Global Development portfolio. And organising around student into one single structure called, Students.

What we're doing is introducing contemporary, scalable and inclusive service delivery and care to all RMIT students. What we are also looking to do is to provide services that engage our students in culturally and socially inclusive services that give them personal growth and professional development opportunities.

So, what are the services that the new Students group will deliver? Well, we'll be delivering RMIT Connect services, Student Wellbeing, Student Diversity and Inclusion, Global Experiences, Student Transition and Student Life.

So, we look forward to working with you collaboratively and with our student population into 2020 to deliver greater value to our students so that they stick around, so that they are successful in their studies, and so that they are ready, ultimately, for life and the global workforce.

  2. Press the left or right arrow to decrease and increase the volume.

Full screen

  1. Navigate to the full screen button using the Tab or Shift + Tab keyboard combination.
  2. Press the Spacebar or Enter key to toggle between full screen video and normal size.
