Ms Seonaid Porter: The way that I like to go about project services is very creative. To do that you use visualization, you get people into a room and say let’s try to imagine a better future together. (Ambient instrumental music playing, background conversation can be heard)
Ms Seonaid Porter: When you see HR people playing well with IT people, playing well with Finance people, telling their creative story, all of a sudden the best ideas start to flow. The difference that RMIT made to me as a professional and how I feel I’ve changed through doing these studies is my confidence to work and be effective in the global business scene. Working with people around the world, you are getting their ideas and their inputs but that means that they’re working in different places to you and they’re working at different times. We each need to find our own journey.
VISUAL: The camera moves to a medium close up of Ms Porter. She is sitting to the right of the frame. A text overlay appears in the centre, left of the screen features a solid white line, with “Be true to you” underneath.
(Ambient instrumental music playing)
Ms Seonaid Porter: The best way is to start with respect yourself and the people you are working with.
VISUAL: Visual returns to an image of Ms Porter in her home office. It is day again. The text overlay alters and the RMIT logo appears in the centre of the screen. Fade to black.
(Instrumental music builds to a crescendo and dies out)
