Timetabling at RMIT is a simple process that you can do online using myTimetable. We're going to take you through the basics now.
Before you can timetable, you need to enrol in all your courses for the upcoming semester. After you've done this, go to the RMIT Students webpage to find out when and how timetabling works for your courses, because it's not the same for every student. It's really important to note the dates and times to complete each step.
For most vocational education students, timetabling is a simple one-step process. Your timetable is normally assigned to you by your school, and you can just view it in myTimetable, about two weeks before the start of semester.
Some vocational education students need to select classes from the available options. To find out if this applies to you, go to the Vocational Education class timetables webpage. If you need to select classes, you can timetable in two easy steps.
First, log into to myTimetable to plan what classes you want. Then, allocate yourself to classes on a 'first in, first served' basis.
And that's it, you've got your personal class timetable at RMIT. If you need any help, contact RMIT Connect.
