Every year the availability of courses offered for midyear enrolment changes depending on a number of variables. 

You can see which courses are open for midyear enrolment by selecting a broad area you're interested in (for example, business), and then choosing an area within that (for example, accounting). A list of courses will be displayed, and courses that have a midyear intake have an Apply Now button next to them.

If your course is not available during the offer dates then you can apply for any other course that is available, or apply for Semester 1 (February intake) from late July.

Domestic students

If the course you're interested in has a midyear intake, you can click on the Apply button directly from the course's webpage.

The Apply page contains information about midyear application dates, entry requirements and what you need to start the application process.

Applications may close early if all places are filled, so ensure you apply as early as possible for your application to be considered.

International students

RMIT’s applications are always open for international students - you can apply to RMIT as an international student any time of year.

Applications will be accepted for each program until all places are filled, so ensure you apply as early as possible for your application to be considered.

Yes! Regardless of whether you are a local or international student studying at another university or institution, you can apply to study at RMIT. You may even be eligible to receive credit for previous study.

Every RMIT course has its own specific set of entry requirements during the admissions dates. To be selected you need to meet the entry requirements as outlined on the course page as part of the application assessment.

Some courses only take applicants with advanced standing at midyear. This means you must have already completed a certain amount of time or have completed tertiary qualification in the same or relevant discipline. Yes. RMIT is giving more Victorians than ever access to Free TAFE courses that give you in-demand skills for priority jobs. Eligible students do not pay tuition fees for a range of vocational qualifications associated with in-demand jobs.
