As a part of an ongoing series of industry events, RMIT University recently hosted its third successful MelBIM industry night.
Following overwhelming industry interest at the MelBIM inaugural event on 24 February 2015, the most recent event, held 2 July 2015, attracted over 300 guests from industry, government and academia.
MelBIM seminars and industry events provide a forum for industry leaders to present on a range of topics across the architecture, engineering, construction and facilities management (AEC+FM) industries. Seminars place a particular focus on Building Information Modelling (BIM) and showcase state-of-the-art projects in BIM.
Key industry players across AEC+FM industries attend events to gain insights, network with peers and share their experiences in BIM.
The most recent event featured speakers from Triforma, GHD Woodhead, Investa, Geometry Gym, and Wood & Grieve Engineers.
MelBIM funding members – including Associate Professor Guillermo Aranda-Mena and Dr Frank Boukamp from the RMIT School of Property, Construction and Project Management – recently thanked the School of Property Construction and Project Management’s Head of School, Professor Ron Wakefield and Mauro Farinola of RMIT Property Services for their ongoing support of the initiative.
