A global survey by CEO Magazine has ranked RMIT's MBA courses among Australia's - and the world's - best.
RMIT's Executive MBA was the highest ranked Australian program in the survey, receiving a Tier One ranking alongside a shortlist of leading EMBA programs globally.
The MBA was one of just 18 from outside North America and Europe to receive Tier One ranking, while the online MBA ranked 14th globally - the second highest Australian online program.
CEO Magazine’s annual MBA rankings are compiled based upon key performance indicators considered to be of interest and value to potential students including:
- Quality of faculty
- International diversity
- Class size
- Faculty to student ratio
- Gender parity
- Work experience
The Executive MBA offers working professionals a highly flexible learning experience and includes distinctive elements in design thinking, management of technology and innovation strategy and consulting which differentiates it from competitors.
The MBA offers subjects in business operations management, business consulting and business research design which provides the opportunity to explore and demonstrate accumulated skills and knowledge and their application in professional practice.
Professor Mark Farrell, Head of the Graduate School of Business and Law, acknowledged the performance of the programs in the global survey.
“It is always pleasing to receive recognition but even more so when the rankings place emphasis on factors we regard as positive attributes of our MBA programs: staff, international diversity, class size, accreditation, faculty-student ratios and more.”
The CEO Magazine has been showcasing top business schools from around the globe since it first launched in 2008.
In 2012 the publication launched its annual Global MBA Rankings, profiling MBA, Executive MBA and online MBA programs.
Using a ranking system entirely geared and weighted to fact-based criteria, it aims to cut through the noise and provide potential students with a performance benchmark.
The complete Global MBA Rankings 2017 can be viewed in the latest edition of CEO Magazine.
