Adjunct Professor Rob Hulls is available to comment on the Northern Territory juvenile justice scandal following the explosive revelations aired on Four Corners last night.
Hulls is inaugural director of RMIT’s Centre for Innovative Justice.
The centre aims to develop the capacity of the justice system to meet and adapt to the needs of its diverse users. Hulls is a solicitor and former Victorian Attorney-General and Deputy Premier.
As Attorney-General, Hulls instigated significant changes to Victoria's legal system which led to reform to Victoria's Upper House and establishment of the state's first Charter of Human Rights.
He established specialist courts in Victoria including for Victoria's indigenous community, for people with mental health issues, and for victims of family violence, and he introduced an open tender process for applicants to Victoria's judiciary.
