Digital Finance CRC

The Digital Finance CRC (DFCRC) aims to drive the digital finance revolution by bringing together a unique group of stakeholders in research, fintech, industry, and regulation.

RMIT is a partner of DFCRC which is an industry-led research effort intended to develop and capitalise on the huge commercial opportunities arising from the next transformation of the financial markets – the universal digitisation of all assets so they can be traded and exchanged directly and in real-time between any individual or organisation.

Research themes

RMIT will collaborate on projects and contribute solutions to the Digital Finance CRC’s research themes:

Dynamic registers for instant exchange

Advanced securitisation – turning more things digital

Distributed trading – commoditisation of marketplaces

RegTech with algorithmic real-time enforcement

DFCRC PhD scholarship program

At the centre of DFCRC’s activity is a PhD scholarship program that connects candidates and their supervisors with the CRC’s industry partners to undertake research on challenges they have identified.
