The School of Graduate Research's (SGR) role is to support research training at the University and develop and refine the University’s overall Higher Degree by Research (HDR) strategy.
Our focus is divided in three key areas:
- Strategy, Policy & Projects
- Research Administration
- Research Education
We support HDR strategy by developing and implementing research training policies and procedures and fostering industry and international partnerships.
The School provides a range of research administrative services, including managing and overseeing all aspects of the lifecycle of candidature from admission to examination (currently excluding international admissions for Australia-based candidates).
We are committed to providing high quality professional development programs to enrich the experience of our research candidates and support our supervisors in their roles. To ensure excellence in supervision, we also coordinate the accreditation and registration of HDR supervisors.
