RMIT's expertise has led to projects with government agencies and international companies.
RMIT's Satellite Positioning, Atmosphere, Climate and Environment (SPACE) Research Centre combines international expertise in a range of research projects to develop platform technologies for space, atmosphere and climate.
Projects range from tracking space debris to investigation into satellite positioning, navigation and timing.
Outputs from this research centre have a direct contribution to make to Australia’s defence systems, particularly in the areas of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and in Smart People Mobility and Object Tracking devices and systems.
