Grace is an art historian, artist and curator interested in contemporary art and design and community development.

She engages in an international dialogue and industry engagement through curating exhibitions, conferences and festivals, authoring papers in journals, books and commentary in the media.
In 2009 Grace founded and secured funding for The Social Studio, a creative social enterprise working with fashion and design to create employment and educational opportunities for young people from refugee backgrounds. This endeavour followed on from her work in editing and designing publications addressing issues surrounding migrants and refugees in Melbourne.
Grace was awarded a 2012 Research Fellowship, Art History and an Honourary Fellowship, School of Culture and Communications, University of Melbourne.
Grace was awarded a Vice-Chancellor's Research Fellowship in 2014 and is aligned with the School of Art.
