Training

RMIT operates a fleet of Cessna 172S aircraft for initial training, and Cessna 182T aircraft for commercial pilot licence training phases. Aerobatic training is conducted in Decathlon aircraft. The Piper PA-44 Seminole is used for multiengine and instrument rating training, while the Beechcraft C90 is available for high-performance training.

RMIT also runs training courses focused on design and airworthiness for fixed wing and unmanned aircraft systems, covering the Australian regulatory system and its application to aircraft design, manufacture, modification, safety, repair and continuing airworthiness.  

English Language Training for Aviation

RMIT English Worldwide part of RMIT Training, a wholly owned company of RMIT University, offers a suite of aviation English courses to help build English language proficiency of professionals working in the aviation industry. Online courses are available for individuals as well as tailored courses for companies that can be delivered online, at your business (including at overseas locations) or in combination.
