Bachelor of Science (Honours) Minerals Chemistry Scholarship

For full-time Bachelor of Science (Honours) students undertaking an honours project in the area of minerals chemistry who can demonstrate a GPA of 3.0 or greater for your previous degree.

The scholarship provides up to $5000 for one year.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa holder or an international student

  • be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) (BH012) at RMIT in 2022 and enrolled in ONPS2450 (Science Honours Project 1) in semester 1 and ONPS2452 (Science Honours Project 2) in semester 2

  • be undertaking research in the area of minerals chemistry with the Centre of Advanced Materials and Industrial Chemistry  

  • be able to demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum of 3.0 or higher grade point average (GPA) in your previous Bachelor degree.

If you did not complete your previous Bachelor degree at RMIT, you will need to upload a complete transcript of your degree.

  • A student must pass all course requirements in semester 1 of the Honours program for the scholarship to continue in semester 2 

  • If students take a leave of absence in semester 1 their scholarship will be cancelled 

Notice to applicants

The scholarship application process is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Unfortunately, not all eligible applicants will receive one.

Only successful candidates will be notified via email to their RMIT student account.
