Who can apply

Open to all RMIT students, the Creative Funding program facilitates non-study based creative projects. There are two rounds of funding each year: in April of Semester 1 and August of Semester 2.

Semester 2 applications are due at 11.59pm, Sunday 20 August 2017.

Information session

Gain vital information and advice to make a successful application, ask questions and meet other creatives.

Budget workshop

Increase your chances of receiving funding by making sure your budget is up to scratch.

When: 12noon - 2pm, Monday 7 August

Featured funding recipients, Semester 1, 2017

Wilson Yeung

Received $427 to present a research paper at the International Academic Forum (IAFOR): The Asian Conference on Asian Studies 2017 at the Art Center Kobe in Japan.

Georgia Smedley

Received $500 to assist her photographic exhibition at Junior Space gallery in Fitzroy.

Sebastian Chesney

Received $500 to assist his electronic pop music project, Blyolk, in releasing a third single.

GACK Art Collective

Received $500 to present a series of 3 workshopped collaborative art projects that will materialise in the inner city environment.

RMIT Occasional Choral Society (ROCS)

Received $500 to assist in hiring a pianist to accompany choristers during rehearsals and to facilitate the learning of music.

Visible Ink

Received $500 to assist with the publication of their annual literary journal.
