Learn the basics of drumming and develop your skills playing with others as part of a Drumline - a marching percussion ensemble!

Learn the basics of drumming from Campbell Phillips, the director of D2 Drumline, who has played to audiences of literally millions of people. He also taught Hamish Blake how to play! Playing with others as part of a Drumline - a marching percussion ensemble - you will develop skills that will send you well on your way to becoming Keith Moon.*

Join our fun drumline classes at the City Campus, available to all RMIT students. Over the course of eight weeks, you will learn how to keep time, hold your sticks correctly and generally rock out.

Worried about noise? Fear not, classes will be taught using drum pads that mimic the action of a drum, but at a fraction of the volume. Drum pads will be supplied. You can purchase a pair of high quality drumsticks at the RMIT Campus Store (Building 12 level 4) at a heavily subsidised price (to be picked up in class).
