Across almost all industries, business has become increasingly international – and whether it’s negotiating with suppliers, dealing with customers, working with colleagues or managing culturally diverse teams, effective cross-cultural understanding and communication have become vital skills for all employees.
Developed in partnership between RMIT and SBS (Special Broadcasting Service), this credential focuses on differences in communication across various cultures.
Undertaking this credential will give you a better understanding of how cultural values affect communication. This includes written, verbal and non-verbal expressions. You will also develop skills to assist working with interpreters and translators.
Completing this credential earns you a digital badge. It is also one of five credentials you can complete to achieve the Cultural Competence stack.
