Consider that to ‘look’ and to ‘see’ contain vastly different motives.

GALLERY 3:
Consider that to ‘look’ and to ‘see’ contain vastly different motives. To look is merely to direct one's gaze in a specified direction but to see is to be engaged and to understand. Representational totality is less of a concern and rather the intention is to fashion distracted viewers into engaged discussants. To engage and to see and understand, by presenting the pre-existing within a structured framework of collection.
Opening Night: Tuesday 23 May. 5:00-7:00pm
Artists Talk: 2 June. 1pm
First Site Gallery is run by RMIT Link Arts and Culture
