There are lots of good reasons to publish your research during candidature but did you know you can also incorporate publications into your thesis – either whole or in part? There is flexibility with respect to how much or little published material is included in the thesis as the length, structure and composition of the thesis are determined by the standards of the discipline. This workshop will help you to optimise your research by writing your thesis and publications at the same time.

Learning outcomes

By joining this workshop you will be able to:

- Optimise your research writing activities

- Structure and format your thesis to include published articles

- Understand key principles in authorship and publishing good practice
