IT outage – February 2021
RMIT is currently responding to an IT issue that has impacted access to a number of the University's supported systems, applications and services. Work is underway to restore access to all systems as quickly as possible.
From the analysis undertaken to date, there is no evidence to suggest any data breaches as a result of these issues.
Information will be updated regularly as system status changes.
|Self Service Password Reset (SSPR)||We advise that you DO NOT reset your RMIT systems password at this time. Reset passwords are not currently syncing across all systems.
If you have reset your password since Friday 19 February, your new password will work for any systems with a myApps login page (including Canvas and myTimetable). For all apps that do not have a myApps login (such as your RMIT student email), your new password will not work and you will need to continue using your old password until the IT outage is resolved.
Once the IT outage issue is resolved, your new password will automatically sync across all systems.
