Withdraw from or swap a course before census date

Withdraw from a course after census date

If you want to withdraw from a course after census date, you’ll need to submit your withdrawal request as an enquiry via the RMIT Connect online portal.

Please make the subject line of the enquiry ‘OUA request to withdraw from a course after census date’ and include the following information:

  • your RMIT student number
  • the name of the course you wish to withdraw from
  • the course code of the course you wish to withdraw from, if known
  • the OUA study period or session in which you are currently enrolled.

If you withdraw from a course after census date, you with still have to pay tuition for the course. If you are in a Commonwealth supported place, you can find the tuition cost of your course in your invoice on Enrolment Online. If you are not in a Commonwealth supported place, you can find the tuition cost of your course in your invoice in the OUA Student Hub.
