Completion and graduation
Notification of completion
Once you submit your final archival thesis or project to the digital repository (Equella), a recommendation will be made to the Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research Training and Development (ADVC RT&D) of the School of Graduate Research (SGR) that you be formally admitted to the degree.
Upon approval of this recommendation, the SGR will then post a Statement of Academic Completion (SAC) to your address listed on myRMIT.
The University will also send the following documents after graduation:
You will need to apply to graduate to receive your testamur. You may elect to attend a graduation ceremony or graduate in absentia. If you attend a graduation ceremony, you will receive your testamur and transcript at the ceremony. If you elect to graduate in absentia, you will receive your testamur and transcript by registered mail.
