Pride Week Morning Tea: Spill the Tea - international students

Enjoy a yummy morning tea while reflecting on experiences and challenges faced as students from diverse cultural backgrounds within the LGBTIQ+ community.

About this event:

Join the International Student Peer Support team for the yummiest brekkie to ‘spill the tea’ and promote LGBTIQ+ inclusion and awareness!

Reflect on experiences as queer students and the challenges faced as people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds within the LGBTIQ+ community. LGBTIQ+ allies are welcome!

What you’ll get out of it:

This event will be led by the International Student Peer Support Team (made up of friendly current international students) who can lend a supportive ear.  

The Peer Support Team can offer guidance on:

  • Mental wellbeing
  • Relationships and social skills
  • Overcoming homesickness
  • Confidence and empowerment
  • Family expectations or pressures
  • Stress management
  • How and where to get professional support for your mental wellbeing

And anything else you would like to talk about

Location: RMIT City campus (The Garden Building, Building 10, Level 6)

This program is open to current RMIT international students only.
