International Student Coaching Program

Identify your personal strengths and use them to achieve your personal and professional goals – our accredited coaches will guide you along the way. Register for the International Student Coaching Program now.

This program kicks off with a workshop followed by personalised coaching sessions.

Do you know what your personal strengths are? Or how playing to your strengths can help you reach your goals?

Sometimes it's hard for us to identify our own strengths, but the International Student Coaching Program is designed to help you do just that and more!

This program will help you:

  • Identify and utilise your unique strengths to achieve personal and professional growth and goals
  • Increase your self-confidence to navigate life at uni and in your career
  • Grow your network and connect with your peers
  • Discover free support services to help you reach your full potential

The program kicks off with an interactive workshop followed by 1-on-1 coaching sessions with a supportive International Student Coach. You'll create your own Strengths Profile and develop a personalised Action Plan designed to help you reach your goals, gain confidence and build new skills.

The program will also give you the opportunity to meet other students and discover the many free support services and activities available at RMIT to help you reach your full potential.

Please note, you must be an RMIT international student to be eligible to participate in this program.

The program consists of three parts that students will participate in:

  1. An interactive workshop where you'll complete your very own Strengths Profile, and complete activities with other students to help you identify your strengths, interests and goals

  2. A 1-on-1 session with an accredited Strengths Coach where you'll develop a personalised Action Plan for achieving your goals at RMIT and beyond

  3. You are free to book ongoing coaching sessions throughout the year to help you work towards your professional and personal goals

Workshops and 1-on-1 appointments and coaching sessions will all be held both face-to-face on City campus and online, so you can choose to attend in-person or remotely.

The next workshops will run:

  • Tuesday 16 August 2022, 3:30-5:30pm AEST, City campus, REGISTER HERE

You only need to attend one workshop. You’ll find out how to book your coaching sessions when you attend the workshop.

More workshops will be added for later dates – check back in August!

You must be an RMIT international student to be eligible to participate in this program.

Our accredited International Student Coaches are trained to empower and motivate you to work towards your goals, while equipping you with the knowledge, skills and resources to successfully navigate life at university and beyond.

The first step to participating in this program is to complete a Strengths Profile. The Strengths Profile T&C’s & Privacy Policy can be found via:

You will need to create an account with them and agree to these terms in order to complete the profile.
