RMIT is pleased to offer all students a free flu vaccination.
Influenza (or the flu) is a highly contagious virus that causes widespread illness every year.
Symptoms of the flu can last for several weeks, and include fever, aches and pains, headache, fatigue, chills and sweats.
Getting vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself against influenza and avoid missing out on study, work and life, and now RMIT has made it free and easy for you to do so.
Even if you were vaccinated against the flu last year, the flu virus is constantly changing, which is why it’s important to get the flu shot annually.
With COVID also circulating in the community, it’s more important than ever to be protected against other seasonal illnesses like influenza.
For more information about this year’s flu vaccination, download the Frequently Asked Questions PDF.
