Wheelchair Basketball at Social Sports

Join us for a fun afternoon of learning and playing Wheelchair Basketball with Disability Sport & Recreation Australia to help us celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)!

Come and try wheelchair basketball at the A'Beckett St City Courts (behind Building 80) for an introduction to how to play the sport and meet some of the inspirational players from the game of wheelchair basketball and learn about how exhilarating and action packed the sport is.

The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access and inclusion, and the more than One Billion people with disabilities/impairments around the world.

The event is also a great way to get involved in the wheelchair basketball opportunities that Disability Sport & Recreation has to offer.
